Annie Crowe

Annie Crowe is a human rights lawyer and proud Autistic ADHD PDA 2e Disabled Spoonie.

In 2022, Annie founded NeuroAccess after a decade of practicing private and public law working for the Australian Government. She left her traditional employment in legal practice and public policy to focus on her community and improving the lives of neurodivergent people everywhere. Annie she speaks at national and international conferences, consults and trains professionals on neuroaccessibility, and coaches neurodivergent adults and families to build neuroaccessible lives and advocate for themselves in the many systems (health, employment, education) that too often misunderstand neuroaccess needs.

Annie is now a globally recognised voice and award-winning thought leader with her first book 'Neuroaccessibility: A Practical Guide to Building Accessibility for People Who Think Differently,' coming out in Nov 2023.

In May 2022, Annie launched this podcast and simultaneously founded not-for-profit EDNA (Eating Disorders Neurodiversity Australia) where she stepped down as CEO in Jan 2023 partially due to health reasons but mostly due to having successfully achieved her main goal of influencing the first Australian Eating Disorder Strategy (released Aug 2023). Annie continues to consult with the National Eating Disorder Collaboration (NEDC) to ensure eating disorder treatment and prevention acknowledges neurodivergent people and meets our access needs.
